Florida Congressmen Introduce Legislation to Expand Homeownership Opportunities

Legislation called the Save for Success Act aims to help first-time homebuyers by allowing distributions from qualified tuition programs to cover qualified housing expenses, including closing costs and mortgage payments. It defines first-time buyers as those who haven't owned a principal residence in the past three years. The changes would apply to distributions made after December 31, 2026, expanding homeownership opportunities.
